Prof. Adham Hegazy

Professor of Pediatrics and Neonatology,
Ain Shams University

• Dr. Hegazy, MD,FAAP graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams
  University in Cairo on Dec.1982 ( excellent with honor ). He got his
  Master degree in Pediatrics from the same University in 1987 after
  finishing 3 years of pediatric residency in Children’s Hospital of Ain
  Shams University. After that, he finished a one year research
  fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology Department in Children’s Hospital of
  Cincinnati, Ohio, USAand then pediatric residency in Children’s
  Hospital Medical Center in Akron, Ohio. He became certified by the
  American Board of Pediatrics in 1994 and still hasa valid current
  recertification. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics
  since 1994. He also did a one year neonatology fellowship in Kosair
  Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
• He continued his career in the faculty staff of Children’s Hospital ,
  Ain Shams University and he is currently serving as a Professor of
  Pediatrics and Neonatology in the same University since 2005. During
  his career, he also worked as a Pediatric and Neonatal consultant in well
  recognized hospitals abroad in Saudi Arabia and Canada. He also
  supervised many pediatric post graduate thesis and has more than
  thirty local and international publications in the field of pediatrics and
  neonatology.
