Prof. Ahmed El Beleidy

Professor of Pediatrics and Neonatology,
Cairo University

• Dr. Ahmed El-Beleidy was born in October 1955.
  Dr. El-Beleidy has got his M.Sc. of Pediatrics in May 1982, then his MD of Pediatrics 4 years later,
  in May 1986. Both degrees were taken from Cairo University.
• In 1996, Dr. El-Beleidy was appointed as Professor of Pediatrics, he became the head of the
  Pediatric ICU of Cairo University New Children’s Hospital in 2011.
• In August 2013 Professor El-Beleidy was elected as the head of the Pediatric Department in
  Cairo University. He was holding this title till 31 July 2016 when he quitted administrative
  activities and focusing on education. Currently, Professor El-Beleidy is holding the post of
  Professor of Pediatrics, Cairo University.
• Professor El-Beleidy shared in the supervision and evaluation of more than 100 M.Sc. and MD
  theses, in different universities in Egypt.
