• Professor of Pediatrics and Head of Pediatric Clinical Nutrition Unit
  Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. He is responsible for preparing and
  teaching the course of Pediatric Nutrition for undergraduates as well as for
  Master and MD degrees in Pediatrics.
• He has published 43 articles in the fields of Pediatric Nutrition and infections
  in national and international medical journals and has been the supervisor
  of 103 master, MD and PHD theses in Pediatrics and was the examiner of 81
  master, MD and PHD theses in Pediatrics within and outside
  Ain Shams University.
• He attended 72 international and 96 local conferences and had a major role
  in organisation of 46conferences in Egypt. He had lectures in
  10 international and 62 local conferences and in the educational courses of
  the Egyptian medical syndicate.
• He was the president of the FIrst Scientific Congress for Pediatric
  Pulmonology and Nutritional Disorders. He is the vice president of the
  Arabian Society of Pediatric Clinical Nutrition and a member of the Egyptian
  society of Pediatrics, Ain Shams society of Pediatrics, The clinical society of
  Faculty of Medicine Ain Shams University, Egyptian society of preterm and
  neonatal care, Egyptian society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology and
  the Arabian international society of nutrition & gastroenterology and
  infectious diseases.
